Look at the map of the areas/counties that voted for Bush and Kerry...

The majority of land area supports Bush.

The popular vote supported Bush.

The electoral college supports Bush...

The President is republican.

The House is controlled by republicans.

The Senate is controlled by republicans.

The majority of state Governors are republican.

The South voted in unity (for Bush and the Gay Marriage Amendment).

So, the clock starts: four years to fix many things and if not the backlash...
